Zimbabwe (ZIM) and Pakistan (PAK) will collide in the first ODI of the three-match series, at the Sir Vivian Queens Sports Club, in Bulawayo, on Sunday, November 24. 

Zimbabwe last featured in an ODI series at the start of 2024 against Sri Lanka. In the away tour, the side suffered a 2-0 series defeat in the three-match series. Though in that fixture, Zimbabwe didn’t come out victorious they are currently in red-hot form as they recently topped the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Sub Regional Africa Qualifier Group B 2024/25. In their squad, the side has picked three uncapped players, Trevor Gwandu, Tashinga Musekiwa, and Tinotenda Maposa. The side also sees the return of Sean Williams

Pakistan’s pacer Haris Rauf could be the best bowler in the upcoming clash against Zimbabwe. With the track helping the pacers, Rauf will be looking to make good use of the conditions. The speedster bowls at a good pace and gets some seam movement earlier in the innings. Rauf will be hoping for a similar showing in the series opener. In the previous tour to Australia, he bagged 10 wickets in three games at an average of 12.00.
