With two wins under their belt, India have more or less confirmed their tickets for the semi-finals, unless something dramatic happens in their final league game against Nepal on July 23. Among bowlers, Deepti Sharma has stood tall. Shreyanka Patil’s absence is a major blow for the team, but they are well-equipped to get the job done against the neighbouring Nepal side.

Deepti Sharma has been India’s biggest match-winner with the ball in the tournament. She picked up three wickets against Pakistan in the opening match and was also adjudged Player of the Match. In the second match against the UAE, she picked up two wickets and is currently the leading wicket-taker of the tournament.
