Sylhet Strikers (SYL) are yet to open their account in the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). They have lost both of their games so far but have done well in phases. The batters looked to be in good form in the opening match against Chattogram Challengers but failed to deliver against Rangpur Riders. The bowlers seemed to be in good form as Dushan Hemantha stole the show in the last match. Despite so, there is a lot of room for improvement at the moment. Up next, the Mashrafe Mortaza-led side will challenge Comilla Victorians, who have won and lost one each so far.

They defeated Fortune Barishal by four wickets in the last match. Mustafizur Rahman did a commendable job with the ball while Imrul Kayes made 52 runs off 41 deliveries. Other batters did well alongside him but neither could build a long partnership. That is the only concern for Comilla at the moment.
