Sheldon Jackson top scored across the top eight with 17 runs from 20 balls before Parvinder Awana weighed in with 21 runs at number nine and it is clear that the likes of Hashim Amla at the top of the order need to step up in this game.

With the ball, Parvinder Awana picked up both wickets in the last game while Veer Pratap Singh also impressed with real control. He is likely to fight skipper Imtiaz Ahmed for the new ball.

After their opening day success, India Tigers were brought back down to earth with a bump by Mumbai Spartans who defeated them by 17 runs in an entertaining clash.

For the Tigers, they know they need to improve across the pitch in this match with both their bowling and their power-batting not up to the required levels in the last game.

With the ball, Shadab Jakati impressed with 3/24 from four overs while Samit Patel also stood out with 1/13 from his four over spell.
