In T20 cricket, where conceding less than eight or ten runs in an over is itself an achievement, Vaishnavi Sharma bowled a maiden over during the powerplay in the first T20I. The skilled off-spinner was cheap throughout her four-over spell on Sunday, leaking runs at only 5.00 runs per over, while also trapping the well-set batter Hasini Perera to finish with 4-1-20-1 figures. The Agra-born will look to deliver similarly in the forthcoming match as well.
