TOURNAMENT: IPL 2024

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are all set to lock horns in Match 10 of the ongoing Indian Premier League 2024 on Friday, March 29, at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore. RCB, who suffered a loss to CSK in the season opener, came back with a roaring win in their second game against Punjab Kings at home and opened their account in the points table. Star batter Virat Kohli played a match-winning knock of 77 runs to guide his team to victory. Dinesh Karthik’s quick-fire unbeaten knock of 28 runs off 10 balls sealed the game for the Bengaluru-based franchise.

Meanwhile, KKR, coming off a narrow win in their season opener against Sunrisers Hyderabad, aim to maintain their momentum and strengthen their position early in the mega event. Strong West Indian all-rounder Andre Russell reminded everyone why he is one of the most dangerous T20 batters in the world with his brilliant 64-run knock. Young Harshit Rana held his nerve till the very last and bowled a brilliant final over to win the game for his team by four runs.

M. Chinnaswamy Stadium Pitch Report:

The M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru is famous for its batting-friendly pitch, which typically produces high-scoring clashes. Due to the short boundaries and lightning-fast outfield, no target seems out of reach for the batting team, allowing them to easily chase down seemingly daunting totals. However, teams batting first should aim to post a formidable score, preferably well over 200 runs, to remain competitive in the match, as the surface tends to favor the batters heavily.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB):
